Beards Of Prey join The Salads & friends @ The Bovine, June 5th!!

The fourth band to be announced for our only Toronto show this summer is BEARDS OF PREY!! You may have caught these guys on our Christmas with The Salads & Friends album, or just around the metal scene in Ontario recently. We think they’re pretty rad, and are stoked to be sharing the bill with them for our debut show at The Bovine Sex Club in Toronto on Wednesday June 5th. Can you believe we’ve never played there before?! This event will also be (one of) our drummer’s, Darrin Pfeiffer‘s Birthday Bash! We will be proudly sharing the bill with our good friends Dustin Jones & The Rising Tide, and The Dookies (a Green Day tribute band also featuring Pfeiffer on drums!) Pfeiffer’s Birthday Bash w/ The Salads in Toronto! June 5th @BovineSexClub

As you may or may not know, our good friend (and drummer) Darrin Pfeiffer, has recently moved to Los Angeles. He is coming back to Toronto for a visit for the first time since then (this June, for his birthday), and asked us if we could play a Salads show together. We came to the realization that with a little help from our friends, we could gather a pretty damn good amount of talent to throw Pfeiffer the best f’n birthday party he could ever have.
